MUSIC. ART. COMMUNITY.
-
Rock Against Racism Vermont is a collective of musicians, artists, and community organizers in southern Vermont and beyond who’s mission is to cut down systemic racism, fascism, and oppression at the knees and drown out its hate with music, art, and community for all in need.
-
Founded by a member of the original Rock Against Racism in 1970s Britain, RaRVT arose during the 2020 pandemic and Black Lives Matter protests, when it seemed that hatred was finding its way even to idyllic Vermont. We chose to take a stand against bigotry using what we know: music, art, and community.

Our goal is to host, promote, and participate in music and art events in the Deerfield Valley of Vermont and surrounding areas, including Brattleboro, the Pioneer Valley, and the Berkshires. We work with local charities, businesses, and organizations to demonstrate that discrimination has no home here.
