Juneteenth Event Tomorrow!

We’re getting ready for our Juneteenth and Pride celebration at Valley Craft Ales tomorrow! Here is some last-minute information for those planning to attend:

  • Because the burlesque and drag performances could get a little risque, and to ease the pressure on the VCA bartenders, the event is 21+ unless accompanied by a guardian. Parents or guardians are responsible for any minors.

  • VCA has limited parking. Carpool if possible, and if you can easily walk, consider parking in the Wilmington municipal lots behind the library on South Main Street or behind Crafts Inn on West Main Street.

  • Once the event wraps up at VCA, we plan to head down to the Village Pub for karaoke! Do you want to see drag queens do karaoke at a small-town dive bar? You’re goddamn right you do!
